Specialty Cases began in 1989 when Paul Young, an Anvil Case representative and shipping case designer, saw the need for a company that could provide practical protective case solutions for a wide range of business and technical applications.
From multiple laptop shipping cases and computer cases to server cases, business travel cases, trade show cases, and shock mount rack cases, Specialty Cases became a trusted source for convenient, economical, and reliable shipping case solutions.
The company moved to its Laurel, Maryland location in 2003 and continued expanding its product offering, including major brands such as SKB. In 2014, longtime General Manager Kiersten Gillespie purchased Specialty Cases, continuing the company’s tradition of service, product knowledge, and practical case expertise.
