SKB 14U 24 Inch Deep Roto Shock Rack
One of Specialty Cases’ bestselling products, SKB’s portable shockmount rack cases are where convenience meets maximum protection. These designs are almost always in stock, ready to go, providing an alternative to custom-build wood racks. And since they are rotationally molded of LMDPE for maximum impact resistance, you’ll lose the worry of your equipment being protected. The latest in shockmount technology is all here, with elastomeric shocks, threaded steel rails, and aluminum cross components for strength and durability. Compound hinge system and field replaceable latches that allows the lid to swing out and completely around to lie flat against the main body of the case, or you can go lid-less with an effortless lift motion and reinstalled with the same ease in seconds.
The front and rear lids are designed to protrude into the base of the case approximately 1 in. and their unique double wall structure makes them incredibly stiff where this intersection occurs. Making this new generation of shock racks mil-spec sealing characteristics with significantly fewer latches than most competition. This allows for rapid deployment in an up-right configuration -- even when stacked.
The 24 in. SKB shock-rack system stacks securely with the wheels on or off and this revolutionary design is also the only shock rack that will open front and back while stacked.
The inner rack chassis is built of high strength / lightweight aluminum alloy and 11 gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails to DIA-310 standards. Shock and vibration mitigation is accomplished with eitht (8) elastomeric isolators rated for a payload range of 40 lbs. to 150 lbs. in a standard configuration and up to 300 pounds in a special order extended payload configuration allowing adequate sway space for ambient air circulation and heat dissipation. The rack rails come pre threaded for standard 10-32 hardware and mounting screws are included.
The 24 in. Deep Roto Shock Rack by SKB is an ATA rated roto-molded shock and water resistant rack with wheels. It‘s front and rear rails are compatible with any 19‘ rack-mountable gear but has been especially designed for deep rack-mounted components such as Dell and Compaq servers. This case is built for impact.

| Transporting and Shipping Options |  Oversized Package refers to a case that is considered oversized by UPS and FedEx if the case has a length (longest side) exceeding 96 in. or has an overall size that exceeds 130 in. The formula used to determine the overall size is Length + Width x 2 + Height x 2. There is a shipping surcharge for oversized packages that will raise the price over the standard rate. A minimum weight of 90 lbs. would apply to the charge. Always check the carrier’s oversized package policy for exact limits. Oversized Checked Baggage refers to cases that can be checked on the airlines but could incur oversize fees. Typically oversize fees can be applied to cases between 50-100 lbs and between 63-126 inches overall. Overall dimensions of the case are determined by adding the length, width and height together. Always check your airline’s specific policy, as size and weight limits can vary by carrier and route. |

SKB CASES LIFETIME WARRANTY
SKB brand hardshell cases are fully warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the case to the original owner. That means, if your case breaks, SKB will supply replacement parts, repair the case, or replace your case for as long as you own it. Proof of Purchase is required for all warranty claims. Electronic components in SKB brand hardshell pedalboard systems are warranted for five years from date of purchase. Soft cases and gig bags are warranted for one year from date of purchase. SKB is not responsible for the shipping cost to our facility. However, SKB will cover all of the costs of repairs and/or replacements, as well as the return shipping. SKB hardshell cases are warranted for life to the original owner only. Cases used rental purposes, used by institutions or schools, modified or used cases are not covered by this warranty. SKB SOFT PRODUCT WARRANTY
SKB Soft Products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and craftsmanship for one year from purchase. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. Damages due to accident, improper care, negligence or normal wear, where SKB is not at fault, are not covered on Soft Products. Freight cost to SKB Corporation is the responsibility of the customer. SKB will pay the return freight for warranty product shipped back to the customer.
