Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I find it is a great time for reflection and planning as we close out the current year and move into the next but, I also think it’s a great time for us to give thanks. That's why, through the month of November, we will be donating 1% of all sales to the Gary Sinise Foundation
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Specialty Cases will donate 1% of our November sales to the Gary Sinise Foundation. If you’re not familiar with the foundation, Gary and his team are doing amazing things for Defenders, Veterans, First Responders, their families. Whether they are building smart homes and adapted vehicles for severely wounded heroes, helping the children of fallen military, providing rehabilitation programs or entertaining troops, the Gary Sinise Foundation supports the people that willingly sacrifice to provide us with freedom and security. Our donation is just one way we can show our gratitude for their service.
The foundation has a number of national and local programs, designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities, serve America's heroes and their loved ones 365 days a year.
- R.I.S.E PROGRAM - Helps drastically improve life for our nation's defenders and their families by building specially adapted smart homes for our most severely wounded heroes, and providing home modifications, mobility devices and adapted vehicles for our inured, wounded, ill and aging veterans and first responders.
- RELIEF & RESILIENCY PROGRAM - Keeps our defenders and their families strong by offering financial and moral support through times of trauma and loss.
- COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION PROGRAM - Bridges the gap between our defenders and civilian communities. They honor America's heroes both past and present while inspiring the next generation.
- FIRST RESPONDERS OUTREACH PROGRAM - Honors the heroes right down the block – our firefighters, police, and EMTs – who sacrifice every day to ensure our safety. By providing funds for essential equipment and training, the Gary Sinise Foundation is ensuring these heroes perform to the best of their ability.
