ABS

ABS, a short for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, is durable and rigid plastic, which resists freezing temperatures better than PP. ABS can be solvent welded, so modifications/ customization options are almost limitless. It can also be field repaired, making ABS the perfect choice for expeditions or military missions.

Air Cases

Authorized Distributor

An authorized distributor is any distributor of products or goods, who has been approved by a manufacturer to sell products directly to customers.

Bezel Kits

Crush Proof

Strong enough to resist being deformed or crushed when subjected to more than normal physical stress or pressure.

Document Card Holder

Document card holder is ideal for labels and shipping documents, this clear plastic document holder can be used to display important information on the outside of a case allowing for easy identification of case contents.

Dust Proof

Impermeable to dust. So tight as to exclude dust. Resistant to dust, dirt, and sand.

Edge Wheels

Edge wheels are utilized for case styles that are to be pulled like luggage. They are quiet and glide easily, with a simple-to-use handle. Commonly used with case sizes that are difficult to carry, but that are not large enough to be fitted and rolled with traditional swivel-style casters.

EVA Cases (Shell Case Construction)

EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), which is a type of foam. EVA cases are made from HQC aluminum and are a worthy substitute for hard and soft cases used for travel. EVA foam is highly moldable, which means that you can customize it to various semi-rigid shapes.

Gasket

A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It is a deformable material that is used to create a static seal and maintain that seal under various operating conditions.

Hasps for Locks

A slotted hinged metal plate that forms part of a fastening for a case and is fitted over a metal loop and secured by a pin or padlock.

In-Line Skate Wheels

Inline skate wheels are case wheels that are made from a hard yet flexible type of plastic. These types of wheels are recessed into the case and they move in two directions only; forward and backward. Also known as roller board or upright wheels, they’re attached to the backside of the case.

Injection Molded

Injection molding is a method to obtain molded products by injecting plastic materials molten by heat into a mold, and then cooling and solidifying them. The method is suitable for the mass production of products with complicated shapes, and takes a large part in the area of plastic processing.

Lid Organizer

Allows user to safely store and organize items in the lid of the case maximizing interior storage space. Holds paper, pens, calculator, cables, batteries, or other small gear. The storage compartments include differently sized mesh pockets with zippers or even small compartments with flexible straps.

Lid Stays

Lid stays are devices connected to the lid of a case that prevent it from opening further than a specified amount, usually 90 degrees. Lid Stays lock your lid in place to allow access to your equipment without the worry of accidental lid closure.

Military Grade

Follows military specifications. Mil-Spec products satisfy one of the U.S military‘s standards.

Mobility Kit

A mobility kit converts a case into a rolling case. Typically includes removable casters, mounting plates, and a pull strap.

Molded-In Hinges

Molded-in hinges lock a case tight and keep it tight. A molded-in hinge is used widely since it can be molded by the standard injection molding process.

O-Ring

A gasket in the form of a ring with a circular cross section, typically made of pliable material. Provides a watertight seal. Neoprene gaskets fit into a groove in the case lid and seal the case when it's latched.

Pallet Risers

Pallet risers raise the level of a case to allow forklift forks to slide under the case easily.

Panel Frames

Panel frames make installing interface panels on a case's rim easy. Panel frame kits typically include a mounting bracket, fasteners and an o-ring that ensures the case remains watertight, even with the lid open. Pre-drilled holes and stainless-steel screws make fabricating a custom case faster and stronger.

Panel Mount Clips

Panel mount clips can turn a carrying case into the perfect instrument. These clips will secures a mounting panel of your choice for a convenient and finished appearance.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene (PP) is automobile grade with microcellular foam for weight reduction and solid additives for shape stability. PP cases are 20% lighter and more impact resistant than ABS ones. PP has a very high chemical resistance, so it can be used to store corrosive materials. However, it cannot be glued or solvent welded back together (i.e., field repaired) if damaged. PP perform better than ABS when it gets hot but cracks more easily when it is cold.

Pressure Relief Valve

A relief valve or pressure relief valve is a type of safety valve used to control or limit the pressure in a system; excessive pressure might otherwise build up and create a process upset, instrument or equipment failure, explosion, or fire. If the purge valve is automatic you don’t have to do anything to make it work as it functions automatically as you travel. Manual purge valves on the other hand usually require you to push a button to release the pressure.

Protector Cases

Rack Case

A rack case is the ideal transport solution to protect IT equipment. A 19-inch rack is a standardized frame or enclosure for mounting multiple electronic equipment modules. Each module has a front panel that measures 19 inches wide.

Rack Unit

A rack unit (abbreviated U or RU) is a unit of measure. It is most frequently used as a measurement of the overall height of 19-inch and 23-inch rack frames, as well as the height of equipment that mounts in these frames, whereby the height of the frame or equipment is expressed as multiples of rack units. For example, a typical full-size rack cage is 42U high, while equipment is typically 1U, 2U, 3U, or 4U high.

Recessed Latches

Recessed latches are mounted inside a recessed panel leaving them flush with the surface of the case.

Recessed Wheels

Recessed wheels are wheels that are recessed into the cases.This housing protects the wheels from snapping aimlessly when handling. Recessed wheels comply with the overall dimensions fixed by most airlines.

Removable Caster Wheels

The removable caster pad provides a means for easy removal and attachment of casters wheels. Manufactured of heavy gauge steel, these pads have a positive steel-enclosure that allows the caster mounting plate to slide directly into the pad. Once firmly in place, securing the nut to the bolt, keeps the caster securely in place. Simply unfasten the nut from the bolt and slide the caster from its bracket when removing the caster.

Removable Rack

Removable front and/or rear covers. The main benefit of the removable rack cage is to aid cabling and equipment changes that could otherwise be fiddly due to the confined space of the rack shell.

Road Case

A road case, ATA case or flight case is a shipping container specifically built to protect musical instruments, motion picture equipment, audio and lighting production equipment, properties, firearms, or other sensitive equipment when it must be frequently moved between locations by ground or air.

Rolling Rack

A rolling rack case is a rack case featuring heavy duty wheels and pull handle to make transporting your gear smoothly and easily.

Roto Molded

Rotational molding, rotomolding, rotomold or rotocasting is a production process to form hollow parts of limitless size. This is a cost-effective method to produce large plastic parts. Resins are added into a mold that's heated and rotated slowly, both vertically and horizontally.

Rubber Overmolded handles

Rubber overmolded handles are ergonomic handles that improve a product’s grip while retaining its physical strength. Rubber overmolding is a two-shot process of overmolding a handle consisting of forming a base layer for the plastic handle and a top layer of rubber.

Shipping Label Plate

A shipping label plate can be added to the exterior of case to adhere shipping labels or marking of products for inventory.

Shockmount Rack Case

Shock-mounted racks are designed to isolate vibration from delicate equipment. Shockmount Rack Cases provide shock protection from drops, vibrations, or just rough handling by a carrier or road hands.

Shoulder Strap

A shoulder strap on a case is a long strap that you put over your shoulder to carry the case. Typically made of soft non-slip nylon material, stretchy, breathable, comfortable, adjustable and easy to carry.

Snap Down Handles

Trigger Release Latches

A trigger latch is a unique type of latch mounted flush to a case. They are compression-type latches with a locking mechanism below the trigger. When the latch is unlocked, the trigger of the latch is pushed, and the pawl drops down to release the lid.

Tripod Case

Case providing ideal protection for transporting professional tripods, lighting stands, or other hardware safely and securely.

Twist Latches (Butterfly Latches)

Twist latches, also known as butterfly latches, have a rotating cam attached to a straight piece, referred to as a slide, with a curved end that is rotated by the cam. The keeper for the latch is a flat piece of metal similar to the slide with a curved side that allows the slide and bracket to connect. When they engage, the slide moves over the bracket on the case and is pulled tight by the rotation of the cam.

Ultra High Strength Polypropylene Copolymer Resin

Polypropylene copolymers are thermoplastic resins produced through the polymerization of propylene, with ethylene or butene bonds introduced in the polymer chain. The resins provide a broad range of characteristics, and are used in a wide range of applications.

Warranty

Water Proof

Impervious to water. Rendered impervious to water by some special process, as coating or treating with rubber to prevent permeation by water.
